The Impossible Futures voting system is designed to capture genuine interest in the concepts and/or projects that are put forward by builders, associated with the Impossible Futures program.

In order to be able to receive community votes (through a listing on the Impossible Futures website), all builders, have gone through a standardised process, to develop their concepts/propositions, which has included the timely submission of key facts and information - this is to support the quality of submissions and to support the consideration of voting for projects by willing voting participants.

A vote, constitutes a sign of support for a builder’s project and/or concept. Any reward associated with a voter, placing a successful vote, will be paid out (via airdrop), to the voter’s wallet address at the end of the Impossible Futures program, series one.

A successful vote is one that was given to a project that proceeds from the community vote, into Phase Two of Impossible Futures — a maximum of 12 projects/unique builders.

In order to minimise any exploitive or disingenuous behaviour in connection with voting, The Autonomi Foundation reserves the right to withhold any associated reward payments that are connected to successful votes, should those votes be by any voter that: a) holds more than 50% of the overall vote, b) is connected to a proposition with a disproportionately small number of unique voters c) is a builder of the project they have voted on and/or d) is connected to disingenuous or exploitive on-chain behaviour related to the voting system.

In any of these circumstances, no ANT rewards will be paid out if the project voted on proceeds to Phase Two.

Any votes (paid in ANT), for projects that do not progress to Phase Two, will not be returned.

Voters for projects that advance to Phase Two of Impossible Futures (the "12 Finalists") will receive 1 ANT for each vote they cast for the project in question. Rewards will be distributed to their wallets after Impossible Futures concludes on August 13, 2025.
